Successful Mildew Resistance Testing

Firefree 88 (“FF88”) and Firefree Class A (“FfA”) are premium intumescent coatings, with low VOC levels, low odor and now with fungicidal capability. Both Ff88 and FfA scored a 10 (the highest level) when tested for their mildewcidal properties in accordance with the ASTM Test Method D3273. Our coatings uniquely provide both fire barriers and mildew resistance, as long as the integrity of the surface is not altered, making our products cost effective for your next retrofit and new construction project.

Firefree Coatings, Inc. is a leading developer of cost efficient intumescent fire retardant and fire resistant technologies that help prevent the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases during a fire, thus giving occupants extra time to evacuate and protecting the rest of the property from fire. Ff88 and FfA are tested at third party accredited, International Accreditation Service (IAS), fire testing laboratories and are listed/inspected by ICC ES, FM Approvals. Firefree Coatings is a member of NFPA, ICC-ES and ASTM E-05 Committee.

Firefree sells and ships products in all five continents for private, corporate and governmental projects, with customers and projects all over the world from the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica…) to Europe (France, Germany…), Asia (Australia, India, Indonesia, Philippines…), Africa (Nigeria…) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait…).
