The team at Firefree has decades of experience in construction (new and retrofit, residential and commercial) and
in a fire testing and performance as well as in sales, marketing and business development, both domestic and international.
We have also worked with some of the world’s most prominent fire scientists and IAS/ICC certified fire testing
laboratories. Our founder, John is an ASTM E 05 committee member that helped design the vent test standards and
helped co-write both the new ASTM vent standards as well as the new ASTM eave and soffit fire test standards that
are now national standards as per ASTM. John is also a member of the California State Fire Marshals, Chapter 7A.
WUI code standards committee, helping to write and finalize new fire standards for wild land areas.
